Conclusion
Hitler used his speaking ability and powerful essence to gain power and popularity in Germany. The Nazis helped to spread his illogical ideas to everyone in German-controlled territory. They had a strong desire to create a master race of Aryans and fought to exterminate the Jews and other racially "inferior" groups in order to reach this unrealistic goal. Propaganda posters and organized groups, such as the Hitler Youth, helped to spread Nazi ideology. Towards the end of World War II, the Nazi regime was starting to lose power. After their "fearless leader" committed suicide, the Nazis were in complete and utter turmoil. Their 11 million murders, their extreme racism, and their insanity have created such a lasting mark on world history. No matter how much people want to put it out of their minds, the Nazi regime will never be forgotten.
“If the day should ever come when we [the Nazis] must go, if some day we are compelled to leave the scene of history, we will slam the door so hard that the universe will shake and mankind will stand back in stupefaction.” Joseph Goebbels

North Korea
"Atrocities committed by North Korea against its own people are extremely similar to those committed by the Nazis. Close to 120,00 Koreans are thought to be imprisoned across the country....The people are held there for mostly arbitrary crimes...First-hand accounts from escaped prisoners describe how they were raped, tortured, given forced abortions, and forced to dig their own graves before being murdered with hammers by guards." -Alexander Smith (NBC News)
"At the end of the Second World War so many people said, 'If only we had known, if only we had known the wrongs that were done in the countries of the hostile forces,'" inquiry chairman, Michael Kirby |
The report added: "The unspeakable atrocities that are being committed against inmates of the 'kwanliso' political prison camps resemble the horrors of camps that totalitarian states established during the 20th century...The institutions and officials involved are not held accountable. Impunity reigns. The gravity, scale and nature of these violations reveal a state that does not have any parallel in the contemporary world." United Nations Report |
In a statement to Reuters, North Korea said it "categorically and totally rejects the report," which it said was based on faked material.
